Sunbeam MultiCapsule Espresso Machine Review

This review is of a capsule coffee machine. It's a multi capsule machine which can be compatible with four different branded capsules such as Nespresso ,Expressi ,Lavazo and Caffitally. 

It gives you the freedom to choose from  a variety of four brand capsules.  You are no longer locked into just one brand of coffee.  This is perfect for coffee lovers just like me. Gives You the option to try different coffees according to your mood. 

For instance I previously owned a Nespresso pod coffee machine.  This meant that I could only buy pods that were compatible with Nespresso machines.  Now I always do my grocery shopping at Aldi and they stock their own brand of coffee capsules the Expressi coffee.  I always stand in front of the aisle drooling at the different flavors available. My taste buds are dying to try the variety of flavours but sadly I couldn't buy it because the Expressi capsules were sadly too big for my Nespresso machine. 

Happily Sunbeam have changed that.  By introducing the multi capsule machine they have freed me from a one brand capsule jail.  I am no longer locked into one brand of coffee I can happily choose from four different brands of coffee.  This is a Godsend for Coffee Lovers like me who love to try different coffee. With the wide variety of coffee capsules available in the market this has to be the best invention so far. No need to buy different machines for different capsules. One machine but you get the option to select four different brand of capsules depending on your mood , taste or budget.

Love the design of the machine . Mine is Black in Color with silver detailing. It also comes in a white and a red Color. you can check out all the specifications and details at Sunbeam.

It is in a rectangular shape and I love that it occupies minimum bench space as the width is minimum.

The machine is also not so heavy therefore it is easy to move around. This is really important for me as I love a clear kitchen bench. My machine gets stored away in my walk in Pantry and  I remove it every morning for use. It is light enough to put in and out of the pantry.

 The water tank is at the back of the machine. The water tank gives you five standard coffee cups when full. It is easy to take out and fill with water and then easy to put back. At the bottom of the water tank there is an on off switch. Initially when I got the machine I straight away plugged it in and then tried to press the power button that is located on the front of the machine . Obviously the machine did not power up because I hadn't switched on the on switch which is located at the back just next to the water tank.

The Machine comes with Four Catridges for the Nespresso,Caffitally ,Lavazo and the Expressi System.

The Catridge is composed of Two wlwmwnts , The Barrel where the Capsule is inserted and the Catrdige (Flat Part ) which plays a part for the perforation of the capsule.

The Barrel and the Catridge  are Joined together for Easy Storage but need to be pulled apart for Use.

 It was really easy to assemble the catridge and adaptor into the machine. On top of the machine there is a sliding door which houses the catridge and the lever which houses the adaptor. The adaptor holds the capsule and the catridge is used to perforate the capsule .

I really loved how the barrel pops out as soon as you open the lever of the machine. It look a bit like a Gun barrel ready for a capsule to be loaded in :) . The Capsule sits starlight inside the barrel and it is really easy to load the machine with the capsule without fiddling too much.

There are three buttons on the front of the machine. The power button,Single Shot button and The Long Shot Button. The buttons illuminate when Powered on for easy visibility.

After you have loaded your machine with the correct adaptors and capsules , it is as simple as just pressing a button to enjoy a great cup of coffee. I found that this machine was less noisy then other superior machines I have used. The coffee just flows smoothly out of the machine . 

I really enjoyed the taste of all the coffees I made using this machine, The machine brews coffee at the correct optimum temperature . The coffee also tasted really good no complaints what so ever. It stated on the box that the machine uses 19 bar pressure. The machine produced really good quality brew. I could clearly see a hazelnut colored  crema on top which was really smooth. The machine also comes with a 12 month guarantee.

CONS:-

Does not have the ability to froth milk. Need a Milk frother separately.

Overall I am quite impressed with the performance of this coffee machine. The machine brews a great cup of coffee at an optimum temperature. It is really easy to change the adapters and catridges and gives me great freedom to try different coffees. The machine is quite sturdy and compact and it is less noisy compared to other machines. 

I would definitely recommend this machine to coffee lovers like me so that you could explore all the great varieties of coffees available in the market without being tied down to only one brand of capsule.
